Shopping For New Coffee |

| I am now officially out scouting for a new coffee bean supplier for my own personal consumption to use in my espresso machine. What has me surpirised the most is the pricing. You guys need to realize, I can get beans in the grocery store for $7-8.00 a pound, no shipping, no waiting, the same goes for any local drive thru or roaster, all I ask is to remain a competitive in this fascet, I don't mind paying a little more for quality, but when it's all said and done, I'm paying twice as much to place an online order verses just picking it up locally. I guess I should be looking for green beans and plan upon spending an afternoon with a saute pan to roast them. What are your thoughts on the price of coffee these days? I think that they are kind of like gas, they cat INCREASINGLY more expensive. Any recommendations would be great, thanks guys! |
