Drop the Starbucks and Look Into Espresso Coffee Machines!

At most universities, a mandatory meal plan is enforced and people have to buy loads of dollars only useable on food until the end of the semester when it's all deleted and swallowed up by the school. In most cases, that sucks and I would fight against it. But, luckily, I have personally come to benefit from such a rule. My girlfriend had it this year, and we have been raiding the local memorial union market every day for just random goodies like sushi, Odwalla drinks and Starbucks.

And then I thought to myself - each Starbucks double shot costs $2. If you buy just one per day, that's $60, or $720 per year. Someone like my girlfriend has about 2 per day, so I really wondered how close she was to that yearly total in actuality.

And then I thought - what if she looked into espresso coffee machines? Why not make your own espresso instead of buying it all the time. The espresso coffee machines out there are great, and some are as cheap as $100 (ebay) - you can put them in your house conveniently and make as much espresso as you want for way cheaper than Starbucks.

So, if you're like my coffee-adict girlfriend, drop the Starbucks and look into espresso coffee machines today!
