When I lived in the northwest, I would go to work every morning and go straight to the coffee machine like almost everyone else. We would all trudge in from many rainy and cool mornings dying for our first cup of coffee. Many times, myself included, people at work would just stop and grab a latte or cappachino, if we wanted a special coffee treat. That would add up quickly, though, so I didn’t do it that often. When one of our bosses retired from our workplace we had a big party for him, of course, but he bought the office a gift too for everyone. It was an espresso coffee machine for the office! What a sweet thing to do. He saw how almost everyone loved their coffee, latte or cappachino in the morning. Quite a few people already knew how to operate an espresso coffee machine, we did live in the northwest, after all, so the lattes would be perking. We didn’t use our beautiful machine every day, but quite a few times in the week our espresso coffee machine would be whirling away.
